Things Aren't Gonna Lick Themselves is a quest in Goat MMO Simulator.
The quest is given by a random named elf in Alvesta.

- Lick 10,000 things
Yes, that's ten thousand. Fortunately you "only" have to lick 10,000 times, rather than lick 10,000 separate objects. You have seven options here, from most to least time consuming.
- Settle down for an afternoon with a good book or TV show and tap repeatedly.
- Get another controller and spam lick using both keyboard and controller. (PC)
- Find three really good friends and set up a local multiplayer game to make it go four times as fast.
- Set up an auto-key program or macro to do the licking for you. (Or if you have a controller with a Turbo function, you can use that; this is your only real option to speed up the process if playing one of the console versions.)
- Edit your save file.
- Start this quest first, then do other quests afterwards, so you can multitask.
- If you don't care about using cheats, use cheat engine to finish this quest.!
The one upside is that completing the quest gives enough experience to instantly reach level 101. But even that is easier to achieve simply by wall-jumping.
Simply lick random stuff and lick lick lick for three hours straight.
If you want a change of scenery, one good way to always have something available to lick regardless of where you are is to equip the Hunter class and snag something on your line, including one of your own summoned fish, and don't release it.
